Creating a membership site in WordPress: an ideal project

August 8, 2018

Cardiff WordPress meet-up, Rabble Studio, Cardiff

Talk synopsis

I’ll talk through my latest project – creating a membership site for a client. Whilst I’ve had more than my fair share of projects with difficulties (as I’m sure you all have!), this one has been an absolute dream to work on. I thought it might be nice to share what a project is like when it goes well and some thoughts on why it went well.

I’ve also learned some interesting, more geeky things, about how to set up memberships sites in WordPress, which I’ll to share.

I’ll cover:

  • What factors made it successful – some tips and tricks
  • Some of the plugins used – WooCommerce, WooCommerce Memberships, BBPress and Advanced Custom Fields

Level: Intermediate
